Chennai & Me- The Ethereal connect!

So I decided to do something different and came up with this. Instead of the conventional “introducing myself” (or well, self-bragging :P) I thought I could give a comprehensive peek into my rather fascinating personality through this 17 minute long video.

 

As part of my undergraduate course curriculum, I came up with this short documentary that outlines the aesthetic culture that embodies the Metropolitan city of Chennai, on what makes it unique and why it happens to be one of the top best tourist destinations in the world (as reported by the New York Times for the year 2014). This documentary was scripted, presented, partially shot, edited and directed by me, with my college senior lending a helping hand for capturing my shots.

 

While the accolades I received for both the technical and non-technical work reinforced my self-esteem to an extent, the efforts I put in wholeheartedly gave me an experience- that was rich and challenging in its own form, in return. And I think that’s what ultimately counts!
